About us

The origins of Animalates are based within the worlds of professional medicine and professional sport.

Created in 2010 by Rehabilitation Exercise Physiologist Kirra Rankin and professional Rugby League & Union player Mark McLinden, the Animalates system of movements has consistently developed to ensure maximum appeal and effectiveness within children.

The aim of Animalates is to make a major contribution to the improvement of the physical health and educational prospects of children, particularly in light of what is now a global childhood obesity epidemic.

Animalates & the InnovEd Group

It has extensive experience and success in software development and education delivery and is part of a financially-strong private grouping of companies comprising:

InnovEd’s Directors decided five years ago to apply their creative design and development expertise and substantial private funds to the Education Sector, believing adoption of on-line technology would offer unparallelled advantages and benefits to the education and learning process.

Credibility and Customers

InnovEd was awarded in early 2014 one of the most prestigious, premier contracts in Football for implementation of its new Education Management System (EMS), encompassing study-based learning and work-based learning qualifications throughout the leading Football Academies.

Collectively, the Software Grouping has customers including Independent Training Providers, Universities, The Football Association, The Scottish FA, British Cycling, other National Governing Bodies, Premier League Football Clubs, Rugby League Clubs and Rugby Union Clubs.

The InnovEd EMS is hosted in-the-cloud on Amazon, one of the world’s largest and most secure hosting networks. As a result, EMS provides to the Further & Higher Education Sector customers an unrivalled systems capability in terms of performance, security, responsiveness and scalability.
